Tempo · Chess Clock is a game timer provided by Floppa Chess Corp. It requires no account and includes no advertising or analytics tracking. Settings, favorites and the last game are stored on your device and are not sent to the developer’s server. The app does not access your microphone, camera, location or contacts.

PDF and image reports are generated on your device. They are transferred to another app only when you choose to share them. The recipient’s and sharing service’s privacy policies apply. Tempo cannot delete copies after sharing.

Deleting the app removes its locally stored records. Operating system backup features and their privacy rules also apply.

If you send a support email, your address, message and attachments are used to respond to your request. You may request deletion by emailing us. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to respond to your request or meet legal retention requirements.

This support website is hosted by an external provider, which may process technical access logs such as IP address, browser information and access time for security and operation. We add no advertising, analytics scripts or third-party tracking pixels to this website. External links have their own privacy policies.

Why does the timer pause?

Leaving the app or locking the screen pauses play. Tap Resume after returning.

When is the additional period awarded?

Each player receives the configured time addition after completing their own move threshold. Edit times and thresholds in Tournament settings.

How do I export a report?

Open Move Log and choose Export PDF or Export image. PDF includes all records. The image shows the last 20 presses and the game summary. iPhone and iPad open the system share sheet. In the web demo, use Save as PDF in the print dialog.
